Colombian Micro Lot 100 ANOS
100 Years was founded based on the love of family generations. The group of producers of Caturra wanted to preserve this particular variety despite obstacles and several proposals that promoted the change of Caturra to Castillo.
Conserving the Caturra involved working against the great challenge of combating pests and diseases by biological means. It is considered a well-adapted variety, its production in very clean, without even having organic certification, are semi-organic. They use traditional fermentation in dry pulping.
They use concrete and ceramic tanks for fermentation. The farmers are working towards conversion to 100% organic coffee with certification in approximately 2 years.
