This month we spent 2 weeks traveling Central America and the western part of South America, visiting coffee growers at their farms and working with them to secure a variety of superb lots for 2017.
We visited two fantastic coffee regions in Panama. The beans grown in the Volcan and Boquete regions each have different characteristics and we spent time at the Lerida farm and Don Pepe Estate sourcing coffees specially for Australia – available in February 2017.
Secured an exclusive micro lot of washed Geisha from Don Pepe.
We spent time with farmers in northern Peru, near Jaen and Chiclayo, seeking out the best of these Amazonic coffees which challenge all conventional profiles of coffee.
Secured amazing organic & conventional washed arabicas for the next season, all with impeccable profiles.
In Cuba we secured some great Serrano coffees showing unique performance, harvested in November 2016 from high in the shady jungles of the Sierra Maestra Mountains.
